TYPICAL RESULTS

I receive a great deal of unsolicited, positive feedback from this assignment. Students enjoy having something tangible to take with them once they leave the course. Also, the assignment gives them the opportunity to be creative while learning important lessons about self-presentation in online communication contexts. 

From a teacher perspective, it is a fun assignment to grade. I learn a lot about students’ interests, hobbies, and skills from their websites, which I can incorporate into my lectures/discussions throughout the semester.
