I was clueless about creating a personal website prior to constructing this assignment. I spent a few hours becoming familiar with online options for web-hosting and eventually chose Blogger because I could easy turn the free blog into a website. The only requirement to set up a Blogger account was a (free) Gmail account.
After creating my own website, I made an instruction guide for my students. Then, I sat down with my instructions in-hand and created a course website in under thirty minutes. I highly recommend creating a course website, while following my instructions provided in the supporting documentation, before asking your students to complete the assignment.
